Quencher in the Rye
JANUARY - FEBRUARY
Our Quencher in the Rye begins off with a big kiss of hops in the nose, transitions into a spicy, graininess and finishes with a great mix of malt and hops. Although this beer leans toward the American IPA style, we prefer simply calling our Quencher in the Rye a hoppy rye ale.
We like punny names and Quencher in the Rye is another great play on words. On the one hand the name describes a thirst-quenching rye ale perfect for enjoying with our belated spring. And on the other hand the name gives an unsubtle nod to a great novel. No over thinking required, just pour, sniff and enjoy!
Hoppy beers go great with spicy foods and foods with herbal accents. We suggest this beer with our Ploughman's Platter or any of our Street Tacos.
