Awards

Springfield Brewing Company uses two primary tests to judge its beers. The first is the critical and demanding palates of our brewers and the second is the acceptance of our beers by our most important judges – our customers. We do like to take our beers out of Springfield once a year to compete in the largest commercial brewing competition in the world: The Great American Beer Festival, held for the last 25 years in Denver, Colorado. There are three medals awarded for each style category and all US breweries entering beers for judging by a blind, professional panel compete on an equal basis, regardless of the size of the brewery. Springfield Brewing Company has picked up 8 medals over the last 11 years, including a Gold medal in 2003 and a Bronze medal in 2006 for our best-selling Mueller Wheat!
