Hop Lobster has two sides to its flavor profile. On one hand, it’s a terrific, hoppy ale; lots of citrus aroma from the Centennial and Cascade hops and plenty of hop bitterness from the Perle hops used in the first hop addition. On the other hand, this is a luscious, malty brew with lots of palate filling flavors from the crystal malts used in the blend.
This beer was likely the result of a dream or hallucination experienced while scuba diving, either way its gorgeous red hue is reminiscent of the color of a certain delicious crustacean and its got a pleasant hop bite (or pinch) on the back end.
Being the genre-bender that this beer is, it naturally pairs with lots of foods. From savory dishes loaded with garlic to fresh citrusy seafood dishes like our delicious fish tacos.
