Brewery / Distillery Production Crew
Do you have a passion for beer and want to get in on Springfield’s up-coming craft beer scene?
We are looking to add one to two people to our professional production team. Only experienced candidates will be considered, but if you have acquired some skills in a brewery or distillery and are looking for your next adventure drop us a line. This is a unique opportunity to get involved with an established company at the beginning of its next chapter as we launch our distilled spirits portfolio.
We have been in the business of brewing award-winning craft beer since 1997 (Springfield Brewing Company) and are now not only producing beer, but also hard cider and distilled spirits from our original location in Historic Downtown Springfield Missouri.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in a team.
- Must have a desire to produce work of the highest quality.
- Must be self-motivated, have a positive attitude and willing to contribute.
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs to chest height and 150 lbs to 4 inches off of the ground.
- Must be able to take directions.
- Must be able to learn new processes and techniques and problem solve.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must have a healthy understanding and respect for the dangers inherent in working in a brewery, distillery and prioritize safety first.
- Must be able to stand, squat, kneel repetitively in a sometimes hot, sometimes wet, often loud environment.
Applicable experience not limited to the following:
- Brewing, Distilling, Cellar-work, Coopering, CIP, Canning or Bottling
- Compliance with various local, state, and federal agencies
- Inventory management, inventory management software, purchasing
- Warehouse management, shipping and receiving
- Accounts receivable & Accounts payable
- Quality Control and Quality Assurance, Yeast management
- Recipe development, brand / flavor development
- Sensory analysis

Springfield Brewing Co is Springfield’s original brewpub located in historic Downtown Springfield, MO. We have been in the business of brewing award-winning craft beer paired with one-of-a-kind chef inspired dishes since 1997. We are currently hiring for Back of House team members to help support our growing brand.
