Michael joined our team a year ago and his impeccable work ethic and positive attitude did not go unnoticed. He has been crafting new and exciting flavors this fall and we are so thankful to have him on our team. The Ozarks lifestyle, heritage, and cuisine have played a large part in Michael’s life. He was born and raised just outside of Aurora, MO where his father and family instilled his foundation of honesty, hard work, and pride in everything that he does. Michael has been in the culinary scene for nearly a decade working for Touch and helping to open up Hotel Vandivort. When Michael is not in the kitchen prepping his latest tasty dish, he is taking his camera out on a hike documenting his newest journey into the wilderness. If you ask Michael his favorite way to cook with beer, He will say, “With a spatula or tongs in one hand and a beer in the other”. If Michael could invite 3 people over to dinner they would be: Winston Churchill to discuss motivation, Sitting Bull to discuss the process of living my fullest life, and Reese Witherspoon to discuss everything else with because she is an angel.
